Infant education

My name is Mariela, I am a lively, social and happy person. I've been working with children for years and I feel it is an amazingly rewarding job.

I am lucky to be part of Arimunani, a place where we find new ways of learning about ourselves, the world around us and doing all this while respecting others and the natural environment.

I am Joana Maria, enthusiastic about living a conscious, connected, loving and joyful life. That's why I like doing yoga, walking on the beach, swimming, hiking in the mountains, traveling and being able to share these moments. I have been trained in Early Childhood Education and with a Master's Degree in Psychomotricity. I am always looking for continuous training, focusing on alternative pedagogies, emotional support and personal growth.

The path I have traveled so far has marked my way of understanding the accompaniment of children, to respect the rhythms and life processes of each person. I am very grateful to be able to be close to the children and watch them grow. See you this year in Arimunani with great enthusiasm and excitement to meet you and be with your children!

I am Gloria, from Gijón, Asturian of sea and mountains. I love to travel and live in different places. And I love reading, eating, biking, skating...and I play roller derby!

I accompany children by vocation, believing in respect and trust, in freedom and responsibility. I live with Javi, my partner, and Güido, our dog companion.

Hello! My name is Mireia and I am a preschool teacher. More than a profession, it's a passion. For years, I have always had a special connection with young children.

I am a cheerful person, eager to embrace life and enjoy every moment! I love being surrounded by people with whom I can share experiences.

When I was given the opportunity to be part of the Arimunani team, I didn't think twice and dove headfirst into this world. To think of a place where education is respectful, where each child can have their own developmental process, their own ideas, and where they can grow and learn in freedom is what I had always imagined. It's what this world needs, and as a teacher, it's the best place for me to continue growing.

Hello, I'm Lucia. Positive, patient and very observant. I am a Graphic Designer and a Montessori AMI Certified teacher. I was fortunate to enjoy my creative work and blessed in my life with rich and diverse experiences.

I lived in Beijing for 9 years in a multicultural environment that further triggered my curiosity and my ability to be amazed by the unknown. Reading, traveling and exploring have increased my passion for learning.

I'm excited to be part of the great Arimunani family with whom I share their philosophy. I truly believe that respectful education is the only tool capable of guiding emotionally intelligent children who will face the challenge of rebuilding our planet. I would love to share my curiosity with the children and encourage their own curiosity that will lead them to discover with enthusiasm new paths to explore.

Hello! My name is Paqui and I have a degree in Early Childhood Education. I am a cheerful, fun, and very loving person.

Arimunani is a place where you can be yourself, express what you need, say what is happening to you, and where you always find someone to guide you.

We are in continuous emotional and pedagogical training, which helps us improve ourselves a little more every day as we learn

to know ourselves and naturally transmit it to the little ones.

Arimunani is home, family, and a place where love is felt deeply.

I am Margaret, I am from Scotland and have been in Spain for over 40 years. I consider myself a loving, caring, kind and happy person. I work with the youngest children in the school, being a support for their companions and it is a job that makes me very happy because the children give me every day the dose of joy and love I need. My contribution is, in addition to all the love I am able to give, singing, playing and telling stories in English. I love my role as "Arimunani's grandmother" with all the good that goes with it.

I am Montse Tribó, early childhood education teacher, trained in active pedagogies, learning environments, Montessori materials, Pikler methodology and respectful accompaniment. I have been dedicated to children for more than 10 years, in continuous training, review and search of their needs and how to accompany them. I spend my free time in nature, with my children and my animals, dedicating also part of my leisure time to my friendships

and alternative activities to know myself better, always surrounded by music. I consider myself a dynamic, perseverant and resilient person, eager to discover, learn and share. I am looking forward to meet your little boys and girls to walk with them and grow together in all the learning that we still have to do.

Primary education

Hello everybody! I am Pilar and I love sports, in particular, judo (I have done it almost all my life). I feel passionate about walking in the country during the summer months and enjoying the beach during the winter. I feel glad to be part of Munani’s family again and to be able to share this special process with your children where all of us grow, from love, day-to-day.

My name is Nuria, and I am from Tarragona. Ever since I discovered Mallorca, I have become a lover of the island. I graduated as an English teacher for preschool and primary education, and since then, I have taught this language in different contexts. I have also worked as a preschool teacher in Germany.

I really enjoy interacting with people, understanding them, and supporting them. I have a strong interest in psychology, didactics, languages, and nature.

To me, education means creating the conditions for children to be who they already are! Respect, empathy, accepting the child as they are, and understanding their real needs at different stages of education are key for them to grow up happy and well-prepared to thrive in their own bodies and in society.

Hello! I’m Sandra, a teacher specializing in Foreign Languages, Human and Environmental education and Yoga/Mindfulness for children.

I have more than 15 years of experience working in educational projects.

During this time I have found that all learning must start from the inside.

It must involve open, dynamic, and participatory education, that respects the pace and internal processes of each individual.

I am Cristina, teacher for many years and Primary school accompanist since 2019. I love my job, over the years I have been defining my way of accompanying children in their learning process, always through respect and love, while still motivating them to grow and develop.

I am in love with nature, I try not to miss its little details. I love dancing, hiking and sports.

My other passion is natural therapies, which I had the opportunity to study and practice for a few years. For me they are a way to live life in a healthy way and to take care of oneself.

I am delighted to be part of the Arimunani team.

I am Estefanía Gómez (Stefy), half German, half Andalusian, half Catalan and now a little Mallorcan.

I am a teacher of hearing and language and have 15 years of experience in the field of education, both special education, speech therapy, infant and primary in public and private schools.

I feel very identified with Arimunani because a few years ago I realized that I could not perceive education otherwise than by promoting integral human development, educating in a lively, active, creative and participatory way, taking into account the delicate evolutionary stages of children, with a change of look and a respectful education in connection with the students.

I am a very family minded person who tries to enjoy the present moment to the maximum with the people that surround me. I like nature, animals and art in all its disciplines. I consider life as a path of opportunities. An inexhaustible source of learning.

In the school of life I like to observe the day to day of the children to be able to accompany them with love, humility and honesty in their integral development. I am interested in creating links where we can all share and learn through experience, paying special attention to respect and care for the differences and characteristics of each one.

My name is Mariana Kovacs and I am Romanian. I live in Mallorca together with my family. I am married and I have three children, two boys and a girl.

I love to live in the countryside and enjoy the natural and simple things of life, to witness and share with children their moments of discovering the mysteries of the world around us.

This is very much connected to my professional side. I am both a primary and a Montessori teacher and have worked for almost ten years in public schools, but also in Montessori alternative in a private school after graduating from an AMI Montessori training course in Vienna.

Not only the work in the educational field captured my interest, I also have a Bachelor Degree in Tourism Economy and worked for more than

five years in this area promoting the attractions of the beautiful area where I come from, Transylvania. But still , my call is working in a school that sees and supports children's growth on their path in life. I am idealistic, but I have my feet on the ground. Looking forward to sharing all this with you!

I am María Teresa Sureda, an enthusiastic person with a great sense of humour and a desire to enjoy life. I love a lot of things, that's why I've enjoyed learning a lot of different things such as: music (I'm a pianist), theatre (traditional and impro), poetry, clown, reiki, astrology (I'm Gemini, ascendant Leo and moon in Taurus), Access Bars, fosphenism and currently, I'm really enjoying A Course In Miracles.

I have been a teacher for more than 20 years and I believe that accompanying children in their learning process is the best job in the world. I feel very grateful because I can put my gifts at the service of life and at the same time enjoy, learn and continue to grow. I am very creative, I like to sing, tell stories, listen and invent activities. And on special occasions, I also like to create funny characters to explain things.

I have received training in Systemic Pedagogy, various personal growth therapies, school mediation, environmental education and I am currently training in Family Constellations. For me it is an honour and a joy to be part of the Arimunani family.

I am Nuria. Even as a child, I knew I wanted to be a teacher and, fortunately, I had the opportunity to get to know an active school with a live education, and it was this emotional and respectful accompaniment that gave meaning to everything and I decided to stick to this type of school. Today, I can say that my vocation is not only to teach but, above all, to accompany children in their experiences and integral development, to be a "companion".

I am a very curious and passionate person, and a lover of art, especially music and drawing. Some time ago, I began to study neuroscience, psychology and bioenergetics in depth, focusing both on accompanying children and on my own process of self-knowledge. All this has led me to the conviction that in order to properly accompany a child in their development process, it is necessary not only to transmit academic

knowledge in an attractive and inspiring way, respecting their own learning rhythms, but it is also essential to teach them to empathise with others and to validate their emotions. The privilege of being able to accompany children at such an important stage of their lives is not just a profession for me, it is a passion, it is love made visible.

My name is Jaume Estarellas and I have been a teacher of English for more than 10 years now. During all this time working with babies, children, teenagers and adults I have learned the importance of the emotional part in learning at any time of life. I arrive to Arimunani with the hope of contributing with the same energy and positivity that the project makes me feel. It is really great having the chance to work with children in a place where everyone is allowed to be oneself.

I am a cheerful and hardworking, creative, passionate person of my family (dog included), music and mathematics, but, above all, with more and more capacity to be surprised by our Munanis and learn a lot from them. I am delighted to unlearn and relearn, to see that school days can be done in another way and, in general, to be an active part of this great adventure.

My name is Clara Alba, I consider myself a versatile, patient and curious individual who is always eager to continue learning and evolving. This curiosity has led me to travel extensively and live in six different countries, where I have had the opportunity to work and live with adults and children from all over the world. I enjoy sports, especially outdoors, learning new languages and tasting food from all over the world.

My experiences have convinced me of the importance of educating for respect, responsibility, democracy, emotional self-management and ecology. As a teacher I enjoy accompanying children in their learning process and growing with them.

My name is Maria Ariadna, I love my family, music and nature, I am calm and cheerful, I love to enjoy the little things that the world offers us and to learn constantly. I love creating and transforming things with my hands and singing. I have been accompanying children for 15 years. I have been trained in early childhood education and in different active pedagogies, over the years, I have been transforming my way of looking at childhood.

I believe in an emotional accompaniment, based on respect and trust in the child. I am also a children's yoga teacher, where I can accompany, listen and grow consciously, through movement and emotions.

Secondary education

I am an active and dynamic person. I flow and I am in constant movement. I like nature and working with it. That is why I teach biology and science. I enjoy it but I also respect it and I try to transmit both knowledge and values. I consider communication and active listening essential to be able to connect with my students. Connecting on an emotional level is the key to be able to open the other doors to knowledge.

Who am I? I still don't know, at least not entirely. I know I am a human being in the process of self-discovery and introspection. I enjoy being in touch with nature, talking to people from different parts of the world, and sharing experiences, which helps satisfy my curiosity for learning and growth.

Who am I in education? I am someone who seeks to connect with the students, to be there for them when they need it. I hope to share my knowledge, not only on an intellectual level but also emotionally and energetically. I aspire to contribute to helping them on their own journey of self-discovery, which, in turn, will also help me in mine.

Hello, I am Eduard Sastre, graduated in History from UIB (University of the Balearic Islands).

I am a lover of popular culture and music, with an inquisitive mind and a curious nature. I enjoy sharing and transmitting knowledge. The task of being a teacher is a challenge that must be faced with courage and determination. Learning is always an adventure, let's start it together.

Since I was a child, I was fascinated by nature. My favorite toys were a collection of plastic animals, among which I adopted a cow that always went with me. I spent my childhood vacations on a farm in Menorca, surrounded by chickens, geese, rabbits and countless other living creatures; most of my memories take place in that natural space. That passion led me to study biology and I specialized in the study of birds and biodiversity conservation.

After a brief stint in scientific research and a series of life experiences, I realized that the preservation of natural ecosystems does not depend on their management by humans, but on a change in the way we relate to them and that this paradigm shift can only come from a cultural transformation.

Thus, after several volunteer jobs in environmental education and education with adolescents, and especially when I discovered alternative pedagogies, I decided to train and dedicate myself professionally to educational accompaniment. In Arimunani, I feel that I can accompany the personal growth of new generations, from care and respect, and at the same time, transmit my love for life and all its forms.

My name is Maria and I consider myself passionate about my large family, about the earth in its natural state, about art in all possible materials and techniques, and about peace and respect. I like to create, read, travel, laugh, play sports... and enjoy small things ("hygge" in Denmark).

It makes me happy to be part of the Arimunani team and to accompany children so that they become more aware of themselves and their processes, aware of others and aware of the world in which they live.

My name is Elvira, and I completed a degree in Catalan Philology. This year, I pursued a Master's in Teacher Training, which has allowed me to pursue my lifelong desired profession, teaching. Among my goals as an education professional, I prioritize the fundamental objective of dedicating maximum effort to guiding each student to the best of my ability, taking into account their individualities in their learning process.

On a personal note, you should know that I am passionate about nature, as I have always lived in the countryside surrounded by nature and animals. Besides teaching, I am fascinated by anything related to gastronomy and traveling. Lastly, I spend most of my free time writing and using reading as a means of constant self-improvement.

I am Rocío. I am fascinated by the landscape and the world of the mountains. I enjoy climbing, dancing and cooking with fresh and local products.

As a companion I would say that I am curious, happy to learn everything that children can teach me.

I promote order and harmony, while learning that they are compatible with spontaneity and freshness.

I am affectionate, learning that not everyone always needs the same kind of affection.

I am Irene, born in Granada in the summer of 1989. I hold a degree in Economics, and values such as generosity, effort, tolerance, and compassion shape my identity. Additionally, being an optimistic person who always holds hope in people and challenging situations is also a part of me. In the field of education, I consider myself a guide, accompanying the emotional and intellectual growth of adolescents and responsible for guiding them towards values that promote community and fellowship.

I was born in the south of Italy. Since I was very young I started to feel the need to move, to travel, to visit other countries, to know other cultures and their languages. After working in the tourism sector for more than 20 years in more than ten different countries, I went back to the books and got the necessary qualifications to teach Italian, a language with a unique musicality that I love.

My experience in tourist animation makes my classes very enjoyable and fun, and the students who continue to participate in my classes are an example of this.

I am Miguel Mas. I studied Computer Engineering and worked in this field for over 11 years, mainly in desktop and office settings. I realized that I wasn't happy with what I was doing, so I embarked on the exciting world of entrepreneurship and startups by opening a vegan fast food company.

After 5 intense years of learning and hard work, I am delighted to be here at Arimunani, the perfect place to develop as a person and, above all, to understand and live the same values. At Arimunani, I started as the manager of the Bar. It is a very enriching task due to the direct interaction with parents, and especially with the students. I am very satisfied to have been able to add a beautiful connection point between the school and families.

This year, I will contribute to the project by teaching the "Digital Resources" workshop in Secondary, rediscovering my passion for computer science from a new perspective. I am motivated by the opportunity to contribute my bit to the human, emotional, and academic development of these wonderful individuals, our students.

I'm Esther and I'm a journalist. In the journalism workshop I enjoy sharing with the children what I have learned these years on TV. In addition, I help in the communication and administration of the school, and the children and families in everything I can.

I am happy and positive. I like eating, sneezing and walking barefoot. Also, literature, music and simple people who go ahead.

I have two great children and a very tall man (and also great). I am wholesome, I collect friends from all human caste, I have overcome breast cancer and today I value the good things even more. I'm sure that being by your side will be one of them.
